VISIT TO THE DOCTOR - Voice-Over (Oregon)
Mark P. Willner asked Diane to perform 2 lead supporting voices for an animated film he did using pre-visualization software called Antics.
The film is about a fifty five year old man relating how awful he finds it to visit the doctor's office these days. People seem indifferent and disrespectful, using his first name to herd him around the office, etc.
Diane played the bored, doesn’t-give-a-crap receptionist as well as the “superiorly educated” doctor’s assistant. Diane asked if she could do 3 voices for each character (providing options) and discovered that each voice heightened a slightly different aspect of the 2 characters.
After her recording session, Mark asked if he could post his film on the Antics website. Diane agreed, and they look forward to working together again.
Stay tuned to hear Diane in action!

SHOOTING IN AUGUST
YONDER - A Seattle feature in which Diane plays a significant supporting role as the head nurse in a hospital.
Diane was allowed to name her character. In March, her Mom’s cousin, Larry Kight, died of cancer. Diane grew up playing with his 3 sons and daughter, Karen. To honor both Larry (who had his share of woes, yet readily laughed), and Karen (tough through the rough stuff without losing her tender heart), she chose Karen’s maiden name - Karen Kight.
From the time the script was written, Writer/Director Matt Wilkins wanted Diane to play her role, completely unaware that her mother and grandma were nurses. In fact, initially, Diane planned to get a Nursing Degree.

NOT SURE WHEN THE SHOOT IS
BUT DIANE’S BEEN CAST IN |
THE FIXER - TV (Boston)
The show is about a vampire spy named Lawson - a sort of supernatural James Bond - who uses various weapons, cunning, and an awful lot of sarcasm to permanently "fix" vampire criminals and bad guys. Unlike the mythological "undead," the vampires in The Fixer are an ancient race - an evolutionary offshoot of humanity who have existed in secret alongside humans for thousands of years, resulting in key genetic differences.
Based on the Lawson Vampire novels by the seriously over-talented Jon F. Merz,
(whom production companies everywhere should be scrambling to hire to pen their next scripts).
The show shoots in Boston and Diane's role will be revealed when her first episode airs.
KILL ME! - Feature (L.A.)
Bodies of young females begin to show up in alleys around the city, all murdered in the same manner and all identical to a series of murders that took place thirty years ago. Detectives are faced with the problem of solving these horrific crimes, while trying to determine whether the serial killer surfaced again, or whether this is a copycat.
But how could a copycat killer know details of crimes never released to the public?
HEART STOPPER - Feature (L.A.)
Trapped in a loveless marriage, a miserable and lonely business man, embarks on an affair with a beautiful young flight attendant. Amazingly, Michael finds himself in a fantasy world with the perfect person. But his one indiscretion draws Michael into the worst possible nightmare he ever could have imagined. |

Suzi asked her for an article about
